Care Services

Helping Hands Care Services can help with cleaning, personal care, respite care (including sleepovers), welfare checks, medication prompts, meal preparation, transport and shopping.
Our care staff are medically trained and can work with mental health and other complex issues.
We provide more than practical support – we improve wellbeing through social contact and check-ins.
Under our model of care, clients tell us what their needs are – from shopping to a personal phone call.

We can make a real difference

Research and our experience shows that regular check-ins even by phone can improve mental health and wellbeing. Regular contact also helps our staff notice changes in clients and pick up illnesses.

Helping Hands Care Services is a registered My Aged Care provider of the following services:

  • Commonwealth Home Support Program.
    Helps senior Australians access entry-level support services to live independently and safely at home and can include personal care, meal and food preparation, cleaning and laundry services.
  • A Home Care Package
    Depending on the level of Home Care Package you receive, you can get assistance with a range of different services including personal care, meal and food preparation, cleaning and laundry.

Before you can access government subsidised aged care services for the first time, you need to apply for an assessment with My Aged Care.
You can complete the process  online  or contact them directly on 1800 200 422.
