01. What qualifications do your carers have?
All of our care staff have a minimum of Certificate 3 in Aged Care or Home and Community Care or a background in nursing. All care workers are trained in patient moving and handling with further training in specialised areas such as dementia care, personal care and hospice care.

We offer a wide range of services to help our clients maintain their independence and stay longer in their homes.
Cares Services
From one hour up to 24 hours - seven days a week, including weekends and holidays. Services include but are not limited to; light housekeeping, meal preparation, transport, care for people with disabilities, personal care, companionship, dementia care, and post hospital care.
Building Services
Home modification services such as installing handrails, ramps, kitchen and bathroom modifications. We also offer home maintenance work, including yard and outdoor gardening, lawn mowing, gutter and window cleaning.

03. What is the difference between Commonwealth Home Support Program and Home Care Packages?
The Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) is designed for people who mostly manage on their own but might need some short term help or basic ongoing assistance with one or two services.
Home Care Packages provide a greater level of support and allow you to create a tailored support package with the one provider.

04. What is the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP)?
CHSP services are funded by the Australian Government and are available to frail, older people (aged 65 years and over or 50 years and over for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people) who need assistance with daily living to remain living independently at home and in the community.

06. How to I access a Home Care Package?
You will need to apply for an assessment via My Aged Care. Eligibility is based on your care needs as determined through an assessment.

07. What support is available on a Home Care Package?
We can tailor a package of care and support that is right for you. Home Care packages can provide the following types of services: personal care, home care, transport to appointments, meal preparation, basic garden care, in-home respite, medication prompts, shopping assistance and social activities. Your services will only be limited by your package funds, which are based on your approved level of care, and government regulations and there are some expenses that cannot be funded by your package.
